Minister Napuat Urges VPF Officers to Safeguard New Vehicles Gifted by Australian Government

Minister of Internal Affairs Andrew Napuat, who oversees the Vanuatu Police Force (VPF), urged VPF officers to take good care of the new vehicles recently gifted to them by the Australian Government through the Australian Federal Police.

Speaking during the handover ceremony today, the Minister reminded them that it was the taxpayers of Australia who funded this equipment, and it should be well-maintained.

“I ask that when we use them, we do so for their intended purposes, and also take good care of them so that we can continue to provide police services to our people—not only in our towns but also in the provinces and remote communities,” he said.
