Member of Parliament for the Tanna constituency, Hon. Andrew Solomon Napuat, has invested in the NAKA North Tanna Area Council by providing a JCB excavator to assist with key needs such as road clearance, road maintenance, and potential agricultural farming purposes.
The NAKA area in North Tanna significantly contributes to Tanna’s economic development, particularly through root crops like kava. However, road access has been extremely challenging, especially during the rainy season, due to poor conditions. This donation will serve a valuable purpose in addressing these issues.
It’s encouraging to see MPs focusing on and working closely with area councils, as this reflects a government that works with its people. Congratulations to the NAKA Area Council and community, and well done to Hon. MP Andrew Napuat!
